The usual reason people come in is pain. It is a perfectly good reason, and it is not the only one.
Because pain is a late signal
Joints adapt to how they are loaded. Load them poorly, awkwardly, repeatedly, for years, and they change shape in response. That process is gradual and usually quiet, which is why the first sign of it is so often pain that seems to arrive out of nowhere after a decade of nothing.
By the time something hurts, the loading pattern behind it has generally been running for a long time. Movement quality is worth taking seriously before pain is the only thing telling you about it.
Because settling an episode is not the same as fixing the cause
Treatment that only addresses the sore segment tends to be temporary. If the pattern that produced the problem is still there when you walk out, the problem generally comes back. That is why rehabilitation is prescribed with every care plan here rather than offered as an extra.
The honest framing
We work from a straightforward idea: health is something you build, not simply the absence of a problem. The aim is a spine that moves and loads well enough to keep up with the life you actually want — not just one that has stopped hurting for now.
